When I was 11 and it was all over the news that there was this 13 year old genius who’d been admitted to Oxford University, I really wished I was that clever and special and that everyone thought I was as full of potential. I was very jealous.
Now…not so much. This is what pushy parents do to you.

A recent fave artist of mine after his Trent Reznor produced Niggy Tardust album, I loved Williams’ shambolic-but-great acoustic set in the SxSW conference centre late this afternoon. His a capella poetry was amazing too. Hope to catch the full live show later tonight.

Hanging in Greenwich Village today…I wanna move there to write my novel.
Got kicked out of a bar at closing time (2am) last night. City that never sleeps? Pah! ;-)
Self-proclaimed “home of anti-folk” Sidewalk Bar in NYC is a great venue. Feels really boho, plus I can sit down while watching the acts :-)
