If I could somehow filter my dashboard so that I didn’t have to read posts including the words ‘Obama’ and ‘McCain’, I reckon I could catch up on the latest posts in a tenth of the time. Tumblr, are you listening? Can you build that feature in please?
It can be done with a handy Greasemonkey script: Tumblr Savior.

By this metric, the USA does *really* poorly. And the UK comfortably beats them.
Nice surprise

I like the idea of OpenTape, but this is an interesting point; I’ve often come across techy solutions to non-techy problems.

The new version of Tumblr
Full implementation = faaar better than the beta (which, quite frankly, was not very good).
I’m sure the ability to run multiple tumblelogs from one account will prove useful for some future nerdy project.
Liking the ability to search my dashboard/previous posts too.
Not sure if introducing queue/drafts features will be overkill…we shall see.

How much would Obama or McCain pay under the table for a Michael Phelps endorsement? Over a million, I’m sure.
Well over a million - that’ll be loose change after the talks he’s no doubt already having/had with Nike et al. An endorsement from him would mean instant credibility. Which makes me worry about how much money influences elections. (Not that that’s not...
Ads ARE NOT the new online tip jar →
Great post by Tom Willerer in reaction to a recent post by Seth Godin.
Tom suggests someone “creates an actual online tip jar that is as easy as clicking on an ad”. This is something I’m really interested in, and will be intrigued to see what role online tip jars play in the future of monetising content.
Take a look at Tipjoy. It’s pretty much as easy as clicking on an...

I need to get my Spanish back up to scratch again
Can anyone recommend any good Spanish-language podcasts/Twitterers/other Web 2.0 bullshit I should try out in pursuit of this goal?
Not even necessarily a “learn Spanish” podcast etc., but maybe just an entertaining listen aimed at native speakers that I can stick on in the background. It’s all about immersion…
