I’ve started an MP3 blog. Partly for the above reason, and partly because I’ve been hearing so much about Tumblr-esque blogging platform Posterous that I thought I should give it a proper try.
It’s nowhere near as customisable as Tumblr, and doesn’t seem to have the same cool community. It generally seems a bit more “straight” compared to Tumblr’s slightly edgy/creative vibe, but because it’s really easy to use it to blog via e-mail, some casual bloggers are finding it useful for mainly-text blogging.
I definitely prefer its autopost-to-Twitter (etc.) feature to Tumblr’s though, and it generally seems much better integrated with other services. And it’s great that the RSS feed can be plugged straight in to iTunes (or similar) to automatically create a podcast of your audio posts.
