Domain used in Oman
If .om were to ever allow unrestricted second level domain registration, many forms of cybersquatting would then be possible. For example, instead of yahoo.com, one could register “yahooc” under “.om” to create the typo yahooc.om.
I accidently typed “flickrc.om” this morning, and thought I was a genius for coming up with this scam. Seems I’m not the first one though.
