If you’re looking for something that won’t detract too much from the onscreen action, try Brian Eno’s Music for Airports. It’s very mellow and low-key, but if that’s the vibe you’re going for it could be looped very easily - it was originally designed to be used looped in an art installation type setting. But it’s not really rousing, “school spirit”-inspiring stuff ;-)
Do let the Tumblr crowd know what you end up going with, and what sorta stuff was suggested - sure there’ll be an interesting selection!
