End of the world
Up until very recently, I was considering buying shares in UK media company ITV. They seemed bargainously cheap because of general TV-industry problems, plus the wider economic situation, and as they’re a hugely established British brand, I was pretty confident they’d bounce back up.
But given the events of the past few days (esp. this afternoon) I now think SCREW THAT. If I’m investing in anything it’s weapons, food supplies and steel girders to build an underground bunker. We’ll need them when capitalism’s dead and we all live in a post-apocalyptic wilderness, fighting over scraps of firewood.
