“A friend you can eat” - Swedish Fish aren’t sold here in the UK, but whenever I’ve seen them in the States I’ve thought what a strange name/concept for a sweet (“candy”) they are.  Perhaps Sweden sounds so much more far-off and exotic from the other side of the Atlantic than it does from here in Liverpool, where there’s actually a fairly large Scandinavian/Nordic population.  In the UK, it just sounds odd.
Anyway though, when I’m eating sugary stuff, I don’t want to think of seafood.  It confuses my tastebuds.
