Egregious: \i-ˈgrē-jəs\ (adjective)

I just used this is a work-related email and thought you might like to too. It means, “conspicuously bad.”

I’ve heard it a fair bit on the West Wing DVDs I’ve been devouring recently, and consequently looked it up. Gonna try and use this in a work e-mail by the end of the week, pretentious git that I am :-)
