This post from dailymeh gets the rare honour of a verbatim full reblog:
Is 4′33″ art? Is Fountain? How about the above, Dead Pixel in Google Earth, a “82 x 82 cm burned square, the size of one pixel from an altitude of 1 km”, by Helmut Smits? Is “conceptual art” a code word for the practice of most cleverly pointing at non-art and calling it art? I must admit, all of the above were pretty clever. But clever ≠ interesting ≠ moving.
(My emphasis on that last sentence. ‘Cos it’s great).
