Discuit posted this to Twitpic, saying “It seems Disney have opened a takeaway in Anfield”.

I love how so many dodgy kebab shop owners try to make their establishments seem bigger/better than they actually are - there’s one near me in Liverpool that rips off KFC branding but calls itself “Krunchy Fried Chicken”.

It’s interesting to note aswell that Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, not Disney, own the rights to Peter Pan, so the charity earns money every time Disney sells a Peter Pan DVD. (I doubt they’ll be earning from this takeaway though…)

Had great fun talking at the Art of Digital conference yesterday…

…with my friends from Hurricane Films, about how we’re crowd-funding the marketing of indie film Under The Mud using Kickstarter.

There were some fairly heavy-duty academics there (who I very much enjoyed listening to), so I felt privileged to be in such illustrious company ;-)

I'm running a Kickstarter project

Raising money to help a local independent film (made and set in the Liverpool suburb of Garston) promote itself by PAINTING A LIVERPOOL BUS. I’m kinda excited.

There are loads of cool rewards for backers too :-)
