RT @bijan: @arrington it would be cool if there was an iphone crunchbase app.
I think this would only ever be used by VCs. Who needs startup/funding stats so quickly that they can’t use the (actually very good) website from their mobile device?
There’s a worrying trend of people thinking that any useful website they like needs a native mobile version. Sometimes websites are websites, apps are apps and they should both stick to what they do best.
“If Playfish can sell for $275 million and Zynga can attract big funding on reports of bigger revenue, there’s clearly life in the virtual goods game. So six Liverpool developers are hoping to emulate the success that pair has had in getting people to pay for things that don’t exist…”

Songkick has a cool app/company timeline in their new space. This is great, all small teams should do this to remember just how much they actually accomplish. Easy to forget.
I should do this for my general life too. It’s so easy to let the days pass by without stopping to reflect.
I can definitely see its use for startups/small teams.
