Sometimes I think technology makes life more complicated

Just renewed my travel insurance using an archived backup of my old emails, the ‘grep’ command in terminal, a to-do list app, an over-the-air-syncing notes app and 3 Apple products.

Also provides historic info - seems Twitter’s the only major API that’s been down in the past week, but Yammer has the worst uptime overall.

Dave Winer has started using Tumblr

(He’s the godfather of RSS/podcasting, an Internet veteran and one of the smartest thinkers on the future of communication and the web that I know of).

Winer mostly uses Tumblr to talk about RSS Cloud, his contribution to the real-time web.
